Refund & Return Policy

Overview

Foreignsim sells digital eSIM products that are delivered instantly via email. As our products are digital and provisioned immediately after purchase, specific conditions apply to returns and refunds.

By purchasing from Foreignsim, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund & Return Policy.

60-Day Return Policy (Unused eSIMs)

We offer a 60-day return period for eSIMs that have not been used, subject to the conditions below.

To be eligible for a refund within 60 days of purchase:

  • The eSIM must not have been installed, activated, or used
  • The QR code must not have been scanned
  • The eSIM must be confirmed as unused by our system and network partners
  • You must contact us within 60 days of the purchase date

If these conditions are met, we may issue a refund to the original payment method or store credit, at our discretion.

Used eSIMs – Refunds Only in Case of Failure

If an eSIM has been installed, activated, or used, it is non-refundable, except in cases of confirmed technical failure.

A refund, replacement, or store credit may be provided only if:

  • The eSIM fails to function as described, and
  • The issue is confirmed to be caused by the eSIM itself (not device incompatibility, user error, or network coverage limitations)

We may request supporting information, including:

  • Device model
  • Screenshots or error messages
  • Installation steps followed
  • Usage or activation details

If the failure is confirmed, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • A replacement eSIM
  • A refund
  • Store credit

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • The eSIM has been used and is functioning correctly
  • Device does not support eSIM technology
  • Incorrect plan, country, or region selected at checkout
  • Network performance issues due to local coverage, congestion, or carrier limitations
  • User error during installation or activation
  • Failure to follow provided instructions
  • Change of mind after delivery
  • Expired or partially used eSIMs

EU Digital Content Notice (Right of Withdrawal)

Under EU consumer law, digital content is exempt from the standard 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has begun, provided the customer has consented to immediate delivery.

By purchasing an eSIM from Foreignsim, you expressly agree to:

  • Immediate delivery of digital content, and
  • The loss of your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun

This does not affect your 60-day unused eSIM return policy or your rights in cases of defective digital content.

Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing times depend on your payment provider
  • Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days
